Appendix B - Summary of the election expenses accounted for by the presidential election agent

The definition of what constitutes election expenditure is provided in the schedule to the Electoral Act, 1997 (as amended) under eight specific headings. The Election Expenses Statement form issued by the Standards Commission to Mr. Barrett was designed to ensure that details of election expenditure would be provided under these headings. The amount of election expenses incurred by Mr. Barrett under each of the headings is set out below:
