Conclusion

By reason of the Commission's findings regarding Councillor Sheila Casey, the Commission considers that council officials should remind councillors of the provisions of the Ethical Framework for the Local Government Service and the Code of Conduct for Councillors at the beginning of each council meeting where planning matters are on the agenda. The onus to comply with these provisions remains on the individual member of the council.
