5. Prohibited donations

Anonymous donations, donations in excess of the prescribed limit and foreign donations are prohibited by the Electoral Act. Details of what constitutes such donations are given in the Standards Commission's Guidelines.

No candidate at the bye-elections notified the Standards Commission of the receipt of an anonymous donation, foreign donation, or donation in excess of the prescribed limit.
