A number of elected representatives made donations to their political parties. The largest such donation was made by Deputy Joe Higgins who contributed €37,077 to the Socialist Party followed by Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin, who made donations of €25,395 to Sinn Féin and Deputy Prionsias De Rossa who made donations of €22,855 to the Labour Party. Donations were also disclosed by the Green Party from Ms. Patricia McKenna, MEP, who contributed €9,675 to the party. The Green Party also disclosed contributions of €4,723 and €4,381 from Deputies Trevor Sargent and John Gormley, respectively, and a donation of €4,031 from Ms. Nuala Ahern, MEP. These donations, being under the €5,078.95 threshold, did not require to be disclosed.
