Dáil general election 2007

Below are the Standards Commission's published guidelines for the next Dáil general election. A copy of the published guidelines will issue by registered post to each candidate, election agent and national agent. The published guidelines are legally binding on candidates and agents - i.e., candidates and agents must comply with advice contained in the published guidelines.

The Standards Commission has also published advice below which is has issued to certain candidates and election agents and which it considers may be of assistance to other candidates and election agents.

The Standards Commission may also issue further guidelines / advice to candidates, election agents and national agents on specific issues which may arise during the course of the election.
