Accessibility
This section of the website sets out some of the policies and procedures adopted by the Standards Commission to meet its requirements as a public body under the Disability Act 2005.
The Standards Commission is an independent statutory body. Ms. Emily O'Reilly is a member of the Standards Commission. She is also the Ombudsman and the Information Commissioner. The Standards Commission shares offices with both the Office of the Ombudsman and the Office of the Information Commissioner. The Office of the Ombudsman provides the secretariat for the Standards Commission.
In this section of the website, therefore, references to "the organisation" include the Standards in Public Offices Commission, the Office of the Ombudsman and the Office of the Information Commissioner.
